Oil Painting Varnishing
After about 14 months since this study was completed, it’s ready to be varnished.

The process of varnishing will be exactly the same as we saw before. We place the canvas flat on the horizontal surface and coat the canvas in one direction. Then, we dry it against a wall.
When the first coat of varnish is dry, we varnish it a second time, but now at right angles to the first.
This is how the painting looks before and after varnishing. We see again that the Varnish affects the painting positively – the surface of the painting now looks even.
