My name is Francisco, and my story is titled Serene Evening.
Painting holds a deeply meaningful place in my life. It is a beautiful activity that generates pleasant sensations in people. There is a great reward in both creating beauty and in appreciating it. When I paint, I feel connected to something timeless, something that gently elevates both the creator and the viewer.
The primary challenges I face in art are motivational. I struggle to carve out consistent time for painting, and it is not always easy to secure a dedicated space where I can both create and exhibit my work. These practical limitations often test my discipline and commitment, even though my desire to paint remains strong.
I am especially interested in learning traditional oil painting techniques, such as the seven-layer method. I want to work with natural ingredients and even craft my own paints and mediums. The idea of understanding materials from their very origin fascinates me, and I wish to deepen my knowledge of these classical processes.
In my view, the Old Masters Academy is an institution that brings together a multitude of highly skilled artists. It offers the opportunity to learn all the skills I desire, along with a broad range of other artistic knowledge. It represents a place where tradition and mastery are carefully preserved and shared.
I dream of being part of a community where the beautiful art of painting is taught, created, learned, and shared. I want to win the Old Masters Academy course because I believe that connection and inspiration would fuel me to bring more beauty into the world through my work.
