Art is my life. And my life is art. I can’t think of any better way to benefit society, while focusing on mental well being and stability. Art forms of all kinds pulled me through challenging times and also helped me celebrate in good times. I can’t think of anything much better than visual art with mystery and meaning. And I love all many kinds of art.
Challenges in art include having access to needed supplies, since art supplies can be very expensive, including a professional artist easel, authentic Old Masters paints, canvases, brushes and much more included. To build professionalism in art, those tools, among many others became a necessity, more than a luxury.
I want to learn as many techniques and styles of art, color theory, a study of master painters, their methods, their tools and their art studio set-ups.
Old Masters Academy is such a wonderful resource for classical artists who want to build on their foundational knowledge and aim higher with building artistic skills.
I would love to win the Old Masters Academy course for many reasons. Instructor professionalism and skill mastery are two examples. Watching Old Masters Academy videos has had a big impact on my creative career as a returning artist (after years of being away from it.)
The Old Masters Academy has a community for artists who want to excel and strive for excellence in everything they do related to art and visual presentation. When my skills reach the top mastery level, I can offer my skills and instruction to others, to help them learn and grow as an artist.
It would be a great honor to win the competition and to be able to study with the Old Masters Academy.
