I definitely can say, that art is my life

My name is Elena, and I’m from Moscow. My way to the art was very long. When I was a children, I liked to draw very much. And in school and then in the university I was drawing from time to time. But it was never serious, just for having pleasant time.

Though at the beginning I sold two of my works. Then almost 10 years I didn’t draw at all. And in 2011, when my baby had near 2 years, I found an art-studio and met a wonderful teacher N. Pavlov, who taught me painting and the basics of academic drawing.
I studied there for several years, and around 2015 I began to try to sell my works through the Internet. Several times I wanted to quit it, but I did’t. I lasted thanks to the support of my beloved one, whose name is Wojtek. And now I alredy have several clients, who order paintings from time to time. And always come new clients.

I definitely can say, that art is my life. I don’t want to do anything else in my life. When I have no orders, I draw for myself, what I want. I set myself several artistic challenges. At first, my painting should evoke in people emotions, create a mood, it can’t be dead. Then I try to draw maximum realistic. It is not hyperrealism, but things, people or animals have to be real and alive. I’m trying to show soul of my characters.

I want to learn to paint portraits by hand, work with colors and create interesting combinations. I want that my works were indeed works of art. Old Masters Academy™ gives the opportunity to obtain such unique knowledge that raises the artist to new levels of mastery.

I want to win the Old Masters Academy™ course because I really want to be better as an artist and I feel, that it’s absolutely not enough of my knowledge. I want to be better than I used to. Want to be a professional. People should vote for me because I’m honest. And my clients feel it. They feel the heat from my works. What is depicted on work, is expensive for people, they love it. And my goal is to feel and convey their love through paint or pencil.

A part of my soul always remains in the picture, and I am happy, when my clients say that they have goose bumps or tears of happiness because of my works. This is exactly what gives my work meaning. To make others a little happier.
