It is very rare that I spend a day without drawing

Greetings!

My name is Francisco García Bordón I’m 59 years old and I live on an island in Gran Canaria, I’m an art lover, art for me is the way to communicate, here are not many opportunities to study good art.

I always had a pencil in my hand, it is very rare that I spend a day without drawing, I always go out with a blog, a pencil and a pen and as soon as I have time I draw a picture.

I spent part of my childhood drawing on my own, I didn’t have an art teacher at the time, later I was in an academy where classical realism wasn’t studied. I have developed my painting skills on my own.

In my life art is indispensable. Art gives us meaning. Art helps us understand our world.

My challenge Definitely colour. It’s such a challenging, rich, ever-changing subject!
When it comes to paint, the key to success isn’t always rooted in talent.

Consistent practice is what is really needed for me to improve my skills. Practice, practice, practice!
I want to learn to communicate, express ideas, emotions and, in general, a vision of the world.

I never found such good information and instruction as in old masters academy. This educational resource studies old masters and that is why I would like to study at oldmasters.academy, particularly oil painting.

I am very excited about this opportunity to be able to win the Old Master course because I will be able to progress in my artistic career.
