One day without paint on my brushes and fingers is a wasted day

I‘m known to all as Ravi, am 61 years old, and live in the region of Lower Saxony in Germany.

I‘m somewhat at the crossroads of my life, my wife had gifted me a „gift voucher“ to a local Art Course 4 years ago, ( Oct. 2014), since then my passion for Art has been stoked and kindled in me. In my normal daily life, I‘m dealing with figures „a number person“, hence, I‘m surprised at myself about my new found love for beautiful pictures, visions and the world of Art !

Art has become a very important part of my daily routine. One day without paint on my brushes and fingers is a wasted day. I love to see the development and progress in an oil painting, give it a few hours and watch the change and then proceed onwards.

My greatest challenge in art is to be able to see through, visualize, perceive and understand the techniques of the old masters and geniuses, like the great Michelangelo Buonarroti, Leonardo da Vinci and Dürer (my special buddies!). I want people to look at my art paintings or drawings and be able to comprehend immediately my intention of Artwork without lots of words or explanations … my goal in each of my art paintings is to try to Evoke Beautiful Divine Emotions and Inspirations … an Artwork Painting should be able to speak a million words … to the intimate eyes of the beholder viewers !

Unfortunately, currently as a hobby painter, I have not reached my true goal in Art yet, in learning and comprehending all the techniques, skills, nuances and competencies, which my role models have used so magnificently and artistically skilfully in their Genius Artworks during the Renaissance periods, which remains awe inspiring to us humble mortal souls even to this very day!

I passionately want to learn all the wonderful painting techniques of the Grand Old Masters … in the footsteps of my heroes and be able one day to create Paintings, whether be it portraiture or landscape , Artworks that are truly Beautiful, Evocative and Inspiring … silently speaking to the conscious mind of the viewer!

Actually I came across this very unique Old Masters Academy Course having stumbled upon it by pure chance, whilst browsing in the internet for Classical Art, and was amazed, that there is really an opportunity to learn the ancient techniques of the grand old masters, as I have never seen anywhere else a similar type Art Course which teaches the old techniques of paintings and drawings that were used by the Grand Masters Geniuses.

It is not the modern ways of painting that I am interested in, instead I want to learn to paint like the old geniuses. I want to learn how to perceive, comprehend and emulate their techniques …. and I want to be able to apply and use them in my paintings.
This would mean , personally, for me, to strive to evoke divine inspiring beautiful works of Art …this I‘m very sure, I can only learn from attending the very unique Old Masters Academy Course and having the privilege to learn from the very distinguished Artists Natalie Richy and Vladimir London ( I‘ve already enrolled with the Drawing Academy Course with Mr. Vladimir London ).
I hope one day that I will have the honour and privilege of meeting you both personally at the Old Masters Academy in London.

Winning the Old Masters Academy Course would mean everything to me, to be able to learn from the very best teachers in the world in the style of the Old Grand Masters, a one time life opportunity for me to know, to perceive, to understand, to visualize what true creative, evocative , beautiful divine Art is all about , in short, what it takes to create a true „Masterpiece Painting“ … this is what I want to truly try to accomplish in each of my Artworks and Paintings … this is my goal and passion in Art , which only the Old Masters Academy Course can enable me to achieve !

I hope, that everyone of the dear viewers shall kindly vote for me when they look at my above painting of „Shakti“ … can you smell the ocean, hear the cascading waves upon waves which comes lashing on to the sea shores , feel the pervading fresh sea breeze and the birds chirping in the distant sky above, the clouds moving silently under the radiance of the cool moonlight and feel the rhythm of the cosmic dance that the girl is performing in tribute to the divine Lord Shiva ? …. Art, Music & Rhythm, the essence of all life forms on Planet Mother Earth and Divinity … are all interrelated and connected, being part of the Universal Cosmic Dance, which adds beauty and color to our very precious human being.
