I am a woman who thought that drawing was just for the most talented. I am 65 years old working as a lay Christian advisor, internet talk show host ( abbadaddygirls.live ) and now thanks to old masters Academy I am becoming an artist.

Old masters Academy is the best place to learn from. They really care about you go the extra mile to make sure you know your work.

I want to win this course because the more I can learn the better of an artist I will become. I don’t want to be taught by any other place but Old Masters Academy. …

To me, art is a careful cooperation of acquired skill and personal expression. Throughout my life, I’ve always felt a strong need to create artwork, both for the sheer fun of it, but also because I wanted my ability to improve. It wasn’t until college that I realized and ultimately decided that I should strive to make a career of my passion.

I’ve come to learn about many types and styles of art, but above all I admire the beautiful, classical artwork of the old masters. Unfortunately, I’ve found that as I study art in my classes, I don’t have the opportunity to improve my skills in the way I want. Other types of art like abstract, cartoons and stylized illustrations are very popular right now, and it seems like classical fine art is not getting the attention it very well deserves. I have always loved arts

I am a self taught artist. Creating art isn’t something that I just enjoy doing, it is something that I have to do. It defines who I am. I do something everyday to improve my skills.

Because I cant afford to go to an actual art school I must do everything possible to learn on my own. I want to be able to tell my story through art.

Now at 40 I want to emerge

I am a very busy mother of two with 3 jobs to keep up with life in general and loans. I have been through hell and back, always putting my needs last. Now it is time to pursue my dream.

I have always loved art and I am an old soul with old values in 2019. Been hidden in my space for too long, now at 40 I want to emerge. I feel I deserve my time to shine after a lifelong battle. Art has been the dream that kept me dreaming for better times, promising myself a nice prospect for when life will smile at me and now its the time.

Considering my very limited to none art lessons I feel to be a good self thought artist, but certain challenges they have to be thought by masters.
