I live on the farm where my husband runs Australian stock horse stud and our horses make great subjects for my paintings. Therefore, my favourite subjects are – traditional way of Australian country life and my beloved horses. I believe that artwork speaks from heart and that good artist thrives to express emotions that cannot be awakened in any other form of communication. I also believe that spectrum of colours, like harmony in music, is a gift that enables us to feel love and express ourselves. I would like to get proper education in old masters technique. I started to paint with oil colors when I was ten years old as an autodidact. I always liked the old masters like Rembrandt, Rubens and Dürer.

As a teenager I wanted to become a portrait-painter. After finishing school I went one year to Paris to study arts.
Quite often I was visiting the Louvre, fascinated by Mona Lisa.

Later I became an art therapist. Sketching and painting is something I do from time to time. I also like sketching caricatures.
Art is the ground of being free and to be a creator. To paint like the old masters was always my aim since childhood.

… I would love to win the Old Masters Academy™ course for many reasons. I really respect the work of these artists and always have. I want to be as good as them. I have no money for the foreseeable future. There’s no way I would have the time for full time college or the money. I can’t believe this has come up now because I’ve been asking for a sign to give me some direction for me and for my art. The Old Masters Academy™ has excellent advice and resources and has so much that I want to learn. I don’t want to go back to my job but need to have a purpose and a way to feed my children at the same time. I want to take the plunge and be the artist I’ve always wanted.

It is my old desire to learn the techniques of the old masters.

After the birth of my children, I looked for the opportunity for home training, which I was able to do comfortably with the young children. When I saw my first Old Masters Academy training, I applied immediately and gladly. I loved the understandable, simple guidelines that made it easy to achieve spectacular success. During my studies, I liked the plant parts of the paintings, so I began to delve deeper into the world of plants and developed in that direction. Although I am currently painting with watercolor paint, I would later like to mix this knowledge Witteg oil painting and learn as much as I can. My life is ART. I have been drawing since 6 and using paint when I was 10 I was asked to paint posters and class mural painting for special events with a couple of other students. I continued my art through high school won a province wide competition to enter Ontario Art College on scholarship in Grade 12 unfortunately my parents were poor and there was no money to buy supplies for the course.
