My life completely changed last June, when my lovely, lovable, beautiful, beloved daughter went to Heaven… Since then I started to paint. My PAINtings are a piece of me and, I hope, they represent and spread the unconditional love, kindness, beauty, patience, and courage she represents. Without painting I would be submerged by pain.…

I am a very happy French woman of 55 years old. I am an accountant in my husband’s real estate business. I have 3 children, a 28 years old son and twins, 24 years old daughter and boy.
For the past two years, I have participated in competitions and exhibitions. I won several awards and sold some of my work. It encourages me a lot to continue to progress. Now, I would like to learn how to make portraits and study composition in paintings.
I discovered Old Masters Academy on Instagram. What Natalie Richy does is exactly what I like. I am very admirative. …
Hello, my name is Johann Krammer.
I started painting in oils a few years ago and quickly realized that to learn classical painting I need good instructions from professional art teachers and artists.
So, I became a student of the online video course – Old Masters Academy™
This course is exactly what I was looking for. It is packed with so useful information about oil painting materials, color theory, traditional painting techniques, video lessons on how to paint like the Old Masters staring with preparing of a canvas, imprimatura and underpainting, building-up colors and finishing with glazing and varnishing…
… I work hard and prepare myself daily because I wish to become a great master!!
Art is very important in my life. Art has changed my life dramatically, it has made me feel fulfilled.
I can not live a day without touching a pencil and drawing a picture, when I worked in the industrial zone of my city my hands shout me to do art.
My challenges is learn the old master techniques to make it mine and with that resources has the possibility to generate a new visual style and a new technique. As I commented I wish to become a great master and how they once did it change the history of art. As well I want to paint in new contemporary, and also nationalists themes with yours methods (like Rembrandt, Velázquez, Turner, Delacroix or Gericault). …
Born in Somoto, County of Madriz, Nicaragua Central America.
My father Cesar Octavio and my grandmother Ana Maria taught me the appreciation and passion for fine art and my son Jose Alejandro and Eliezer David are my daily inspiration. …
After a lifetime living and working in an office environment, I took the big step a few years ago to resign and dedicate myself entirely to what I was in love with since I was a young child: drawing and painting…
… While I was working in my day to day job I was spending all my ‘pocket money’ on art books and especially books on the old masters: the Venetians, the renaissance guys, the flemish masters, etc. I was reading and consuming information on their lives, their art making, their environment and whenever possible, their technique. I was mesmerized and impressed on how dedicated their whole life was on their art and how much discipline they had on improving their draftsmanship…Anyway the amazing pieces of art they left for us and which is a feast for our eyes, is a living proof of that dedication. …
I have painted my whole life whenever I could between raising my son and working. Recently, I have been able to do paint more but I still want to be able to paint daily.
I dream of painting for a living. It would be wonderful to get to a place where I can show and sell paintings in a gallery. As far as taking classes — the internet has been a wonderful tool for my advancement but more of a piecemeal approach and with no feedback. I know having a teacher who can guide my advancing to where I want to go is priceless. I am excited to find the Old Masters Academy. …
